Gladiator

We had the awesome opportunity this spring to take a family vacation to Europe. It was awesome in that I was able to see so many things I’ve dreamed of seeing since I was a little girl… and it was a leeetle crazy in that we toted a three and one-year-old through eleven countries in 28 days come-hell-or-high-water (which turned out to be–in no particular order– stomach flu, cold, missed nap times, six-hour time difference, ridiculous heat, insane Europeans, and way, way too much gelato).

Why did we do it? For the pictures, of course (duh!). Because what could be better than doing a photo shoot of my little princess at a REAL castle, or of my little Gladiator at the ruins of a Roman amphitheater (In case you are wondering, I feel so apologetic about the fact that we DID go to Rome, but the Coliseum just wasn’t so accessible, and we didn’t have enough time to do the shoot there). You may think I’m kidding, but at least 76% of my motivation was in the pictures.

Anyway, here’s my little buddy, tearing Russel Crowe apart. Stay tuned for (much) more…
