From the day Caleb was born we were looking forward to him turning one so we could do a Cake Smash for his first birthday. We had so much fun with Venna’s Cake Smash last year, we just had to do one of our own. We had acquired a giant cupcake pan and taped a bunch of balloons to the wall in my new studio (Thanks Pinterest!). Thankfully Caleb cooperated and we couldn’t be more pleased with how cute it turned out.

[...] First off, can I just say how awesome cake smashes are? I totally wish I had known about this when my daughter had her first birthday. I loved meeting Venna and her family yesterday. She’s so cute and sweet and such a charmer.
